This is the main iRacing hub for RaceLab: setup links, common display fixes, triple-screen notes, and quick troubleshooting. If you’re new, start with the Getting Started in iRacing guide first.
Best first step: Set iRacing to Borderless Window, load into the car, then start RaceLab and save your layout.

Getting Started (Recommended Order)
- Start iRacing and load fully into the car/session.
- Set iRacing to Borderless Window (or Windowed) and restart iRacing after changing it.
- Start RaceLab and confirm iRacing is selected.
- Add overlays, position them, then click Save Layout.
- Create separate layouts for single screen, triples, streaming, and VR.
New users: If something looks wrong, do not keep changing settings. Set the final resolution/window mode first, then save layouts once.

Common iRacing Problems (Fast Fixes)
Overlays not showing
- Switch iRacing to Borderless Window (or Windowed), then restart iRacing.
- Load into the car first, then start RaceLab.
Overlays shifted / resized
- Resolution or window mode changed after saving. Revert to the final settings and re-save the layout.
- Check Windows scaling (125%/150%) didn’t change between saves.
Overlays frozen / not updating
- Restart RaceLab once while you are already in the car/session.
- Temporarily disable other overlay tools to rule out conflicts.
Triple Screens / Multi-Window (iRacing)
Triples rule: Configure triples in iRacing first, save video settings, restart iRacing, then set up RaceLab overlays and save a dedicated triple layout.
- Lock the final triple resolution and window mode before placing overlays.
- Use a dedicated “Triples” layout (don’t reuse your single-screen layout).
- If overlays appear only on the centre screen, re-check Windows monitor arrangement and re-save the layout.
VR (Pro Only)
Important: RaceLab VR overlays require a Pro subscription and the correct VR startup order.
- Start iRacing in VR first and load fully into the car.
- Then start RaceLab, enable VR mode, add overlays, and save a VR-only layout.
