How to report or cross-check bugs

Check the entries here first to see if your issue is already listed.
For official reporting, use the RaceLab roadmap / feedback site or the official Discord channels.

This section tracks common RaceLab bugs and user-reported issues across different sims and setups. It is an unofficial community knowledge base designed to help you find quick workarounds, understand what’s known, and report issues with the right details.

How to use this page: start with “Known Issues” to check if your problem already has a workaround, then use “Report a Bug” to post the right information so the community (and devs) can reproduce it.

Known Issues (Start Here)

If something feels “broken”, check these common patterns first — they account for a large percentage of reports:

Overlays missing: sim in exclusive fullscreen (use Borderless/Windowed).
Layouts moved/shifted: resolution/window mode changed after saving.
Triples broken after settings change: configure triples first, then enable overlays.
VR overlays not showing: VR features require Pro + correct runtime order.
Force Feedback conflicts: some wheelbases can conflict with multiple clients (use device ignore list where relevant).

Common Workarounds (Quick Wins)

Window mode fixes most overlay issues: Use Borderless Window, restart the sim, then launch RaceLab after you are fully in the car.

Triples stability: Set up triple screens first, save video settings, restart the sim, then enable overlays and save your layout.

Layout sanity rule: If you change resolution, scaling, or monitor arrangement, assume your layout must be re-saved.

Report a Bug (Checklist)

The fastest way to get help is to post a report that others can reproduce. Copy this checklist into your message:

Game: (iRacing / ACC / LMU / rF2 / AMS2 / F1, etc.)
RaceLab version:
Windows version:
Display setup: single / triples / multi-window / VR (Pro)
Window mode: fullscreen / borderless / windowed
Issue: what happens (missing overlays, shifted, crash, freeze, no telemetry)
Steps to reproduce: exact order you followed
What you tried: borderless switch, restart sim, restart RaceLab, admin test
Screenshot/video: if possible (one clear image is enough)

Then post it in the appropriate Discord channel or support area for the best chance of a quick response.
