Subscriptions & Login – Common Issues & Workarounds

This page lists unofficial community reports about RaceLab login, account access and subscription behaviour. It is intended as a practical checklist before you open a support ticket.

Scope Area Issue, Cause & Workaround (Unofficial)
All Users Login / Authentication Issue: User cannot complete login or is sent back to the login screen repeatedly (“login loop”).

Possible causes:
• Browser or in-app WebView is blocking cookies or third-party login data.
• Login started with one identity (e.g. Google / Discord) and continued in the browser with a different account.
• Old cached session conflicting with a new login attempt.

Suggested checks:
• Close RaceLab, then sign out of RaceLab in your browser if logged in.
• Clear cookies/cache for the RaceLab site only, not your whole browser.
• Log in once in the browser with the correct account, then open RaceLab App and use the same login method (same email / provider).
• Temporarily disable aggressive privacy / ad-blocking extensions for the login step.

Status: Intermittent – usually solved by cleaning up cached logins and using a single account.
Pro Subscribers Subscription Status Issue: User has paid for Pro, but RaceLab still behaves as if on a free plan (features locked, “Upgrade” prompts, etc.).

Possible causes:
• Subscription is attached to a different login identity than the one used in the app (for example, paid with Google account A but signed in with Discord account B).
• Short delay between payment confirmation and account refresh.
• Local cache not refreshed after subscription change.

Suggested checks:
• Confirm which email / provider was used when paying (Google, Discord, email + password) and use that exact method in the app.
• Log out of RaceLab App and log back in.
• If the issue persists after some time, capture a screenshot of your billing page and contact official RaceLab support.

Status: Occasional – usually account mismatch rather than a lost subscription.
All Users Session / Staying Logged In Issue: RaceLab appears to log out very frequently, so the user must sign in again more often than expected.

Possible causes:
• Security-related session timeouts (idle for long periods).
• System cleaners or privacy tools clearing app/site data between runs.
• Using RaceLab on multiple machines and constantly switching between them may invalidate some sessions.

Workaround:
• Avoid running automatic “clean all cookies / app data” tools for RaceLab between sessions.
• When possible, keep one “main” PC for RaceLab and use others only as backups.
• If you are forced to log in on every single start even after a short shutdown, collect log/time details and report to support.

Status: Mixed – partly by design for security, partly affected by local system tools.
Households / Teams Account on Multiple PCs Issue: Unclear behaviour when using one RaceLab account across several PCs (rig, laptop, second rig), or when swapping between them often.

General guidance (unofficial):
• Many online services expect one user account per person, not one account shared widely. Using the same login on several machines at once may trigger extra checks.
• Treat your RaceLab Pro account as personal – fine to use on your own rigs, but avoid sharing credentials with others.

Workaround:
• Keep a note of which PCs you use RaceLab on and avoid logging in/out constantly across many devices.
• If you suspect an activation/limit problem, contact official support and include how many PCs you run on and how often you switch.

Status: Policy / usage pattern – depends on official terms.
