Q - How to configure Overlays?

Q - When using VR the TAB key does not work to enter VR Edit mode.

  1. If using iracing, join a session and click options. Click option again. You will see a section relating to Split / Delta timing.  It uses TAB key as a default hot key. Be sure to change the TAB key assignment to another key.
  2. If your wheel software requires it to be run as Administrator, you will need to also run your sim game, and Racelab as administrator. Or, if the game for some rerason is run as administrator, Racelab must also be run as administrator.  Normally, that is not required.

Q - Overlays show on screen but not in VR

  1. There can be many reasons for this. First check your graphics card ports. Are the monitors plugged into the graphics card?
  2. Some users of newer GPU such as RTX-4090 want to run 4 monitors and VR headset that require a display port. They then plug third and fourth screen into motherboard graphics ports. You must set one of the monitors that is connected to the Graphics card, to be your default monitor in Windows display setting, or overlays will not be seen in VR.
  3. Remember this can only be done, if your CPU has built in graphics capabilty, as some do not include graphics support.
