Bugs & Issues – F1 Series (F1 23 / 24 / 25)
This page collects known and suspected bugs when using RaceLab with the modern F1 games
(F1 23 / 24 / 25 and similar). It helps you decide whether you are seeing a
game bug, a RaceLab bug, or a PC / network issue.
Before you call it a “bug”
- Confirm the F1 game is updated to the latest official patch.
- Confirm you are on the latest RaceLab version.
- Restart the game, RaceLab, and (if needed) your PC.
- Test in a simple Time Trial or Grand Prix session with default settings.
- Temporarily disable other overlay / telemetry tools to rule out conflicts.
Common symptom categories
- No data / no overlays even though the game is running.
- Wrong car, lap, or delta information in the overlays.
- Performance & FPS drops when overlays are enabled or streaming.
- UDP / port issues – data stutters, freezes, or disappears mid-session.
- UI quirks – overlays not saving position, hotkeys not responding.
What to collect for a report
- Which F1 title and build (F1 23 / 24 / 25) and platform (PC / Steam).
- Game mode – Time Trial, Grand Prix, Career, League, online lobby, etc.
- RaceLab version and which overlay(s) were active.
- UDP settings / telemetry settings from the game options (port, format, rate). [2]
- Screenshots or a short video showing the problem on screen.
Where to report
For core game bugs (handling, AI, multiplayer issues, save-game corruption), report through the
official F1 game support channels. [1] For problems that only occur when RaceLab
is running, use the RaceLab Discord bug-report channels or the RaceLab roadmap / issue tracker. [3]
