Graphics Stuttering

If you have stuttering issues or if you have fps drop that causing the game to run in 30/60 fps, here is some things you can try to fix it:

30/60fps issue

This usually indicates a misconfiguration of your the video card settings. Look for a setting that's limiting your fps because of your screen refresh rate. What sometimes happens is that one of your screen is only running in 30hz/60hz and the video card rejecting to do any more fps than this number because it'd not make any effect (so it thinks)

Stuttering

We're not quite sure why this happens sometimes, but most of the cases you simply need to make sure the right video card settings. One of the common reason is that you might run your sim racing game (iracing,rfactor,acc..) on a too high configuration and your pc is already at it's limit. In this case Racelab will not have enough CPU time to operate and run smoothly.

Solutions

  • enable or disable hardware acceleration in racelab => restart racelab
  • disable g-sync
  • nvidia control panel => change g-sync to windowed mode
  • disable nvidia-surround
  • disable Game Mode in Windows, and GPU Scheduling (type Graphics Settings in Windows Search)
  • if you have AMD video card, disable 'instant replay'
